A member has the advantage of receiving government assistance through Guild's network and linkage with different agencies, such as, among others:

                a. Board of Investments (BOI)

                b. Bureau of Export Trade Promotion (BETP)

                c. Department of Finance (DOF)

                d. Bureau of Customs (BOC)

                e. Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)

                f. Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)

A member is eligible to avail of jewelry-making courses and trainings provided by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and St. Eligius Jewellery Training Center, established by the Cottage Industry Technology Center (CITC), in cooperation with the Guild, both of which are equipped with art machineries, tools and workbenches for ideal learning conditions. A member is also given the priority to source employees and technical staff from the graduates of St. Eligius Jewellery Training Center and TESDA.

A member acquires the assistance provided by Private Enterprise Accelerated Resource Linkages, Phase 2 (PEARL2) in its recognition to the Guild as one of the business support organizations (BSO) eligible to receive funding support for the following areas:

                a. Human resource development in leadership and change management, business                                  administration, market development, sales, environmental management systems, gender                     equality;

                b. IT applications, e-commerce and web-enabled marketing, product design and                                     development, event and logistics management

                c. Research and development

                d. Market development with focus on participation in domestic and international trade fairs                       and business missions

A member has the advantage of buying gold in unspecified amount from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) by simply presenting an ID issued by Guild, eliminating the submission of documents.

A member receives a whole-year subscription of Mag-aalahas, the official newsletter of the Guild, as well as, Guild sticker and other necessary certifications and endorsements.

A member receives exposure through inclusion of its contact information in the Guild's official website ( guildofphilippinejewellersinc.com ), as well as, the member's company profile through possible linkage of its webpage to the Guild's site.

A member is eligible to participate in the following local and international jewelry fairs:

                a. Manila F.A.M.E. (held every 1 st and 4 th quarter of the year)

                b. Local Guild jewelry shows (once a year)

                c. Vicenza Oro Fair (every 1 st and 2 nd quarter)

                d. Orogemma (3 rd quarter of the year)

                e. Hong Kong International Jewelry Fair (1 st quarter)

The Guild is proactive in transforming the jewelry industry into a leading export sector. Since 2001, it has initiated projects to enable its members to participate in trade shows, exhibits and fairs with the objectives of:

                a. creating a good image of the country's jewelry industry to make buyers feel confident                         that it can sustain and deliver innovative and quality jewelry items;

                b. providing the best venue for the jewelry industry players to be constantly updated of                          market preferences for materials and designs, as well as, technology development and                         innovations;

                c. offering opportunities for members to build long-term network and contact with different                       jewelry industry stakeholders.
