VISION

To become the credible and accepted arm of the Guild of Philippine Jewellers in achieving its aim to have utmost professionalism and to safeguard the integrity of its members.

MISSION

Formation of a code of ethics to guide members of the Guild as they practice values which shall enhance good and honest business relations with customers, suppliers, employees, and fellow jewelers.

OBJECTIVES

    1. To impress upon the members of the Guild the dependency of the jewelry industry on TRUST for its success.
    2. To establish a Code of Ethics and standards of professional conduct for the association so that confidence and respect of the public and of the industry is achieved and maintained.
    3. To protect the welfare of our customers, employees and fellow jewellers.
    4. To project a favorable and respectable image of the association.

TASKS

    1. Submit a draft of the Code of Ethics to the board for review, modification, and approval.
    2. Make a draft of the implementing rules and regulations based on the approved Code of Ethics.
    3. Submit the draft rules and regulation for board review and deliberation.
    4. Present to the Guild members for final approval.
    5. Documentation and circulation of the approved rules and regulation.
    6. Setting up a system to address a member's complaints to the code.
    7. Imposition of penalties for non-compliance.
    8. Marking requirements shall be a must for all jeweler-members. Hallmark designs shall have to be submitted to this committee.
